Continuing on reading IPCC and establishing mental model for climate change.
It is virtually certain that there will be more frequent hot and fewer cold temperature extremes over most land areas on daily and seasonal timescales, as global mean surface temperature increases. It is very likely that heat waves will occur with a higher frequency and longer duration
- There is a knowledge gap in assessing climate impacts on the African continent, specifically with lower income countries.
How is this measured, are we seeing evidence of this now?
- A thought I just had is that it’s topical to be concerned with the just nature of the climate crisis given my reading of ethics stuff at the moment. It might be some sense of a starting point.
