- Energy intensive that are run on fossil fuels.
- Metals can be found in mineral form. With some combination of elements to form a neutral charge.
- Or the could be found in a pure neutral charge state.
- Where do all these metals come from?
- Most of the REE’s are extracted in China
- Terrawatt challenge is how much REE we need for 1TWH of power.
